I began my computing journey with a hand-me-down i386 Pentium computer and that was my first step towards a life long interest in the world of computing. Always seeking to expand my knowledge, I’ve built many desktop workstations over the years for myself and friends and family, designed network topologies, and have an ongoing homelab which has expanded to 4 interconnected server nodes using VLANs, hypervisors, and serving a variety of applications via native installs, Docker, and LXC (Linux container deployments) as well as on and offsite backup solutions.
I take every opportunity I can find to gain knowledge of not just the tech industry, but the world around me. Philosophy, history, engineering, all passions of mine that allow me to observe my surroundings with a fresh outlook and keep things interesting. I strive to learn something new every day. I hope you will learn something new as well on my site.
